- DNA Analysis Genetic material may be found on a questioned document that may contain a person's unique DNA. This genetic material may be present under a flap of an envelope or beneath a stamp. In some instances, if a fingerprint is detected on a document, genetic material may be found in the print itself.
- Latent Fingerprint Processing A document may be processed for the detection of latent fingerprints. A fingerprint technician can detect and develop latent fingerprints on a document, which may then be compared with a known person's fingerprints to determine the possibility of a match.
